Not sure what to say?

The first time I had the honor of meeting Gram and Grandpa was Thanksgiving 1979. Bob and I had been dating for a few months and he wanted me to meet the WHOLE family! We went to Gram's for Thanksgiving dinner and what a feast we had that day! Gram and Auntie Gloria must have cooked for weeks in preparation for the holiday. Well, Bob neglected to tell me that his family ate LOTS of different courses on Thanksgiving Day. I grew up in a family where we ate the traditional turkey dinner. We...

Dear Aunt Rose,

You were always busy in the kitchen, cooking Gnocchi, making cookies and making sure we had at least two full plates before leaving the table! One of my favorite cookies you would make was Struffoli (Honey Balls). Everytime you would come over you always had a plate for me, you knew they were my favorite! You'll be missed very much and remembered as the sweetest Gram/Aunt to all of us!

Love your nephew, Steven

Grandma Rose~
where do I begin? I have so many memories with you every Sunday I would take a visit out to see you with pop and everytime I walked into your room you wouldnt remeber who I was untill I had told you once I had told you you couldnt stop telling me how beautiful i was I would alwasy say no Gram I'm not. But my latest memory and was on Christmas eve when i came to see you with Ulysses ...

Gram, I miss you very much. I think about you every day. I hope that you are still praying for all of us and watching over us. I also wanted to say thank you for all that you have done for me through out my life. You and Grandpa did so much for Michael, Dawn and I growing up when things were at their worse. You and Grandpa also made sure that we had food on the table. You and Auntie Gloria would also help my mom out by taking Dawn & I over the summer so that mom could work.I'll never forget...

Aunt Rose,
There has never been a more caring,
sweet, giving, loving and supportive
Aunt and Godmother than you.
I remember and miss the fun times when you and Uncle Dom would come over and we played cards, with Mom.
When Uncle Dom was ready to leave,
he'd yell....HEY ROE LETS GO, falling asleep standing up.
All the times at Wedding receptions
when we collected everybody's Ice
Cream, put them on large trays and
watch him...

"Mom" this word has never changed in my 40 years of being in the family. No matter what the years broungt, good, bad, or indefferent, you were always my "mom".

These last few months have been such a challenge for my family and myself. With the passing of my son-in-law Tony, which I have never hurt so bad, for my daughter and grandchildren, but, you said that God works in strange ways, just believe and pray. Well, he brought Valerie, Debbie and myself to be with you, hold your...

Dear Mom:

The first time I met you was at a family wedding and you called me Sadie-I think because I had on long earrings-even though Dominic told you my name. The second time I met you I was invited to your home for dinner. Mike and Dom had a fight and they threw a pitcher of milk at each other. I was very upset, but Gloria assured me that brothers do this and this was normal. From then on, we always had great times at your family dinners which were the greatest gifts that you...

Dear Great Grandma Rose-
I am only six months old now, but my mom and grandparents have taken me to see you so many times since I was born. First I met you at my house when I was only a few days old. Uncle Bob and Papa Dom took you there to meet me. We have a video and pictures of me and you on that day. I know you remember meeting me, you called me your little doll. Mommy and Daddy have taken me to see you at Rush Barton lots of times. We brought you hot dogs to eat and our dog Sasha...

dear gram-
You always wondered when god and granpda would finally come for you-you didn't want to be without grandpa red for so long. Now that you are with them, I know you are where you belong. It is strange not having you here with us, we were so lucky to have had you this long. Thank you for loving all of us so much, and for always praying to keep you family safe and happy. We have learned so much from you, and we are better people because of you. I am glad that I was able to spend...
