Not sure what to say?

"I haven't seen aunt Rosella for 30 or 40 years, but I remember how sweet she was when we visited her in FL and when she took care of me and my siblings during the day for a few months long ago. I used to walk home from kindergarten and sneak up on her watching soap operas from her recliner, then jump out and scare her. She always laughed and acted surprised....and she made us kids happy. Godspeed Rose; rest in peace. We'll miss you."

As the oldest child of Rose's brother Kenneth, I'm so glad to know from Dad's tribute below that Rose was such a help and support to a young father and husband trying to raise a new baby (me) while working and taking classes at U of F. I have fond childhood memories of Rose as a loving aunt and exemplary Christian woman who was faithful to her Lord in putting the needs of others ahead of her own. I offer this prayer below for the repose of Rose's soul...

Into Your hands, O merciful...

Rosella, I remember the times Rock and I would bring you banana splits and we would sit and just talk. I loved the time I got to spend with you. It was almost like spending time with my own mom. You will be greatly missed. Go rest highly on those mountains and enjoy being with the Lord. R.I.P

Rose, I will always remember all the kindness and support you gave me while attending UF in Gainesville. Had it not been for you, don't think I would have made it through those years. Just like our mother, you always made sacrifices to help others, and I'm sure the Lord has provided a special place for both of you. Until we meet again, may the Lord bless you, all your children, and all those who were/are privileged to have you touch their lives! Your brother, Ken Galloway, Charleston, SC.
