rosemary. I know her from St. George Island where we built her and Mr. Evans a house. Always loved both of them very much. Her pepper jelly was great. They were great friends. I hope the family still enjoys the house. They use to donate Christmas trees to my cub scout troop so we could sell. Sad to hear of her passing. Dale Watkins.

A visit to Smarr was always a fun. The big house, the tractors, the cows, the chilly milk room, the Christmas tree farm, and the delicious pies and cakes that Bubber's mother, Effie, made with the milk, butter and eggs from the farm. Rosemary continued that tradition by becoming a wonderful cook and wrote a cookbook so that all of us could continue the family traditions.
