Rosemary and I both graduated with each other from Duryea High School in 1958 . She was my first girlfriend. In 1955 , when we were both freshmen , my friend and his date and I walked from Duryea to her house on Cemetery St and then walked to Rocky Glen Amusement Park and went on all the rides. About 15 years ago , at one of our class reunions ,we had our picture taken together and talked about that memorable day.

To my “baby sister” as she called herself to me I will forever miss you and your sense of humor. When our mother died in 1944 at the age of 33 Rosemary reminded me at age 8 you have to be our mother from now on, she was 5 and our brother 3 We lost our baby brother 3 months ago,it’s been a painful year,but her suffering is over and she is smiling at us from Heaven.Joan Hannon Webb
