Not sure what to say?

13 years later and still very much missed. ❤

I met Rose years ago while travelling on a business trip with Peg. Having only 2 siblings, I was awed by this lovely, dignified, graceful woman with so many children. As it happens, Jessica had just been born, adding more grandchildren to the fold. In spite of the fact that Rose was "full up" on children and grandchildren, she welcomed me as one of her own.

She was, in short, just like my own mother. And I have no doubts that there are many more family friends who feel exactly as I...

Billy's Eulogy to Mom

Let’s begin with a few Mom facts:
• Mom was born Rosemary Agnes Barrett on April 22, 1924 to William Aloysius Barrett and Rose Timmons Barrett
• At the age of 25, Mom married Dad, Michael John Kane, A.K.A. Mickey.
• Mickey and Rose remained married until Dad’s passing on March 5, 1996. Mom and Dad were married a few months shy of 47 years.

Katie's Eulogy to Nana

I wore my four-inch high heels today in honor of Nana, because she’s the only one here who knows what it’s like to be five-feet tall. She would stack phone books on the driver’s seat so she could see above the steering wheel. She gave me my first pair of earrings, before my ears were even pierced and taught me how to swim out of a riptide. She...

Carol's Eulogy to her mother…

What is the meaning of dedication to family?

Mother knew the answer to that question.

She knew that no matter what... no one, or no thing came before her family. She knew it was first satisfying the needs of her spouse, children and parents before satisfying herself.

This may have meant taking on extra work like
• Searching high and low for her father’s special flavored ice creams for Thanksgiving dinners
• Like sewing school...

Our prayers are with all of you as you celebrate Aunt Rose's life. She was a special lady. I still recall the surprise shower that all the Kanes had for me at your home before Johnny and I were wed! There were so many happy occasions celebrated in that family room and back yard on Colfax street. There is surely much celebrating in the Heavens as we all send dear Rose on her way with our many prayers!!
Warmest condolences and love to you all. Millice and Johnny xo
