(nee Carroll), was born July 19, 1927, in St. Clairsville, the daughter of the late John and Louise Carroll. She passed away Feb. 1, 2023, surrounded by family. She married John H. Link in 1951, and they were married for 50 years prior to his passing in 2001. They had four children, Marianne Betters (Ralph), John H Jr. (dec. 1973), Barb Stapleton (Mike) and Kevin (Colleen); 11 grandchildren, Fr. John Betters, Tom Betters, Maria Krihwan, Joel Betters, Steven Betters (Hollie), Mark Betters (Kate), Shannon Anderson (Jason), Shaun Stapleton (Bridget), Dan Link (Maggie), Terry Link (Liz), and Shane Link. She had 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight siblings. Rosemary was a woman who loved life and lived it with joy. She would talk to anyone and made friends everywhere she went. She loved her family with a passion, loved helping her friends and so enjoyed having fun. Rosemary was a faithful Catholic and loved her faith. She was so happy to live at Emerald Village since its opening in 2007. She loved her independence, but also loved her community. Rosemary loved horse racing, casinos, poker games, technology and social media. She had a beautiful soul and a great smile. Whatever life brought her way, she embraced it, and lived with a remarkable serenity, generosity, humility and love. The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS. Funeral Mass Monday, Feb. 6, at St. Bernadette Church, 2256 Clague Road, Westlake, OH 44145 at 10:30 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Catholic Charities/Emerald Village, c/o Catholic Community Foundation, 1404 E. 9th St., Cleveland, OH 44114.
