Read MoreMy husband is one of the firefighter/EMTs who responded to try to save Ms. MacCorkindale. While it surely does not lessen the sadness of her loss, he would want her family to know that not just sincere and exceptional medical efforts but deep compassion and love surrounded her in their response. Our prayers have since been and will continue to be with her family and loved ones.

I did not know Rosemary, but I read about her on the WestSeattleBlog. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family. May she rest in peace with those who passed before her.
