Not sure what to say?

I will miss my dear friend, Rose. I mentioned to Ann, that I used to joke with Rose telling her that Garrett and I were her "children". Garrett was slightly older and I was in my 20s. One day, Rose, Garrett and I met over at the old State Hospital for a picnic. As we walked to find our spot to have lunch, we noticed that there was another person from the hospital ducking and dodging behind the trees behind us - following us. I remember Rose asked Garrett, " Who is that man Garrett?' and...

Rose really helped me when I was in my late 20s -- that was over 28 years ago now and I appreciate everything she did for me. Rest in peace dear faithful servant...and save a seat for me.

I was so sorry to hear about Rose's passing. I have known Rose for 26 years. She was a great help to me and a dear friend. I will miss her. May she rest in peace!

Rose, thanks for welcoming my mom into St Agnes Apts. You helped me out such a great deal with getting to know the ropes since we went back to St Anthony's together. Rose, you will be missed a great deal and I know the Lord will hold you dearly in his arms and say, "rest now, Rose, you did good." To Rose's family, you had a gem and I know she will be missed greatly. My condolences to all of you. Barb Potts and Rita Berger

Rose was a special friend since the early 60's! She was so kind, gentle, and a wonderful, dear person. It was my pleasure to have shared her friendship with so many folks. Rest in peace Rosemary and tell St Michael hello for me! Hugs, Pat

Memories go back to more than 70 years ago and to the McGill home on Michigan Street
