Rosi Mirko of Gilroy CA, age 55, died peacefully in her sleep at home with her sister holding her hands. Not sure what to say?

Thank you all for saying these kind things about my sister. She will be sorely missed. God Bless You all.

Rosi,
I'm sorry I missed your memorial service. But you know how much I love and respect you, so we'll still "talk" if you know what I mean. You started me out in all this "TNR and feral advocacy mess"..back in 1998, and I never knew if I wanted to hug you , or kick you, for that ! LOL You have saved many, and have been an inspiration to many.
I hope I can keep making you proud with Feral Freedom Program.
Love, Denise Uriarte

Rosi, on behalf of all of us feral cat rescuers, thank you for all you did for the thousands of kittens and cats in our community. I've never met anyone more dedicated to homeless cats.
My deepest condolences to your family on your loss. Our hard work continues with the path you paved for us.

Hey Rosi, We are all going to miss you, you were the best to all those cats at the shelter and worked many long hard hours to try and keep them alive and get them adopted out. I enjoyed working there many years and you sure are going to be missed! We all love you and will be praying for your family and for Town Cats to survive and adopt out many more kitties down the road.

Rosi was a wonderful person and I deeply regret that I did not have more years to get to know her better. She always made us volunteers and donors feel like our contributions, no matter how small, were very important. Thousands of cats survived and had better lives because of her work. All of us -- and the cats -- are lucky to have had our lives touched by Rosi's bright spirit.

God bless you and your wonderful contribution to humanity.

My heart goes out to the family over their loss. Over the years I've adopted three cats from Rosi, and must say I have never met a kinder person. Her good works will always be remembered.

From all the ferals that Rosi has saved ... she was a Sheppard to homeless cats and our lives are forever enriched because of her humanity.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. She was a leader for the cat rescue community, and her advocacy and devotion for homeless cats has been instrumental in saving thousands of lives. Rosi will be deeply missed and her memory will live on in the hearts of many, and in the lives of countless animals rescued by Towncats.
