Not sure what to say?

Dear Mulligan Family,
I want to express my deepest sympathy for your entire family. I grew up In Des Plaines and your mom befriended my mom Carol Shallcross. They worked together to getting things accomplished. I am happy to say that we both voted for her in the 1990 election and she was ever grateful for each & everyone of her believers. They are both in heaven plotting the next strategy. She was a wonderful and special lady. She is missed by many,

Our thought and prayers are with Rosemary's family. Phil went to high school with your parents and then I lived in the dorm with your mom our freshman year at ISNU. Your mom introduced Phil and I. Our friendship continued and your mom was in our wedding. Many fond memories of the good times we had in those days over 50 years ago.

Rep. Rosemary Mulligan on the floor of the Illinois House probably mid 1990s. Don't have exact date.

My deep condolences to the family. The greatest election case in Illinois history was the coin-flip and "chad" recount. Rosemary was a shinning example of what an elected official should be. I was proud to be her attorney. She will be missed. Burt Odelson

Rosemary taught me how to find my voice politically when issues mattered. She was such a delightful person, and an amazing role model. She will be greatly missed.

Rosemary was very special and loved you all very much. She was strong and usually did things her way which usually was the right way. I will miss my dear friend. It is hard to believe we talked
Monday afternoon and planned a weekend visit then she was gone on Tuesday. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will miss my dear friend. Susan Tungate

I went to high school and college with Rosemary,,,what an awesome person she was...she always fought for what she believed...how blessed Illinois was to have her as an advocate for women's rights...so sorry to hear of her passing...she will be greatly missed...Arlene (Formberg) Elliott
