Rosario Garcia Flores, of Midland Tx, age 67, passed peacefully to see her Lord and savior on September 13th, 2022 in her home town at Midland Memorial Hospital. Rosy Flores was a very gentle and loving person who possessed a warm heart and never thought twice about putting others before herself, especially her family. Rosy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Moreno. Rosy Flores leaves behind a loving family in her husband Pete Flores and sons Chris and David Flores. Rosy Flores also left behind her family of brothers and sisters: Mark, Bobby, Nick and Joe, Irene and Cecilia; as well as her loving grandkids. Rosy's viewing will be held at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin funeral home and chapel in Midland TX on Monday, September 19th at 2:00PM. Viewing will be a private affair amongst family and close friends. August 24, 1955- September 13, 2022 Rosy was born to Catalina and Jesse Moreno in Midland, TX. She graduated from Midland High School. Rosie worked for Joseph. I. O'Neal for two and a half years. Rosie and her husband owned and operated a Mexican Food restaurant, La Hacienda (1982-1986), and Miguel's (1987-1988). Rosie did meals on wheels in her spare time. She was a long-time member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. She is survived by her Mother Catalina Moreno, husband Pete Flores of Midland, Tx., and 3 sons, Dr. Chris Flores (San Antonio, Tx.), David Flores (Midland, Tx.) and Michael Flores (San Antonio, Tx.). The family wishes to express deep appreciation to her friends, extended family members, and church members for all the prayers, visits, cards and phone calls.
