Rosie Jones Obituary
Rosie Borges Jones, age 84, of Hemet, CA, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Rosie was born on August 5, 1930 in Near Tipton, California. She was the daughter of the late John Borges Leal and the late Maria Borges (Duverdente Lima) Leal. Rosie was a business owner, she owned two restaurants in the South Gate area. She was also a beautician and finally retirered from the AAA Auto Club. She was a breast cancer survivor and worked with the Cancer Society with the Look Good Feel Better program, helping other breast cancer survivors. Some of her hobbies included sewing, embroidery, scrap booking and genealogy. Rosie was a very hard working person and family was her number one priority. She was preceded in death by her husband Arseames Edward Jones, her 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her children Robert Allen Jones, Beverly Ann La Rock, Zona Hart, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Hemet, 1501 West Florida Ave, Hemet, CA where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 15, 2014. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will be held privately at Riverside National Cemetery , Riverside, CA . Please sign the guestbook at www.presstelegram.com/obits.
