Send FlowersROSE-Rosie E. (Forney) Born in Sparta Ga. on June 26, 1931 to the late Ephrim Forney Sr. and Lizzie Kate Forney (Edwards). The Lord gracefully took her into His arms on Friday, December 29, 2006. She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving husband Willie Rose Sr.; 12 children, 34 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren; dearest of 3 sisters and 3 brothers; a host of nephews, neices and students whom she loved. She was retired from the Buffalo Board of Ed. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 11:00 AM, services begin at 12 :00 noon at the State Tabernacle COGIC, 234 Glenwood Ave, Buffalo, NY. Interment, Acacia Park Cemetery.

The last time I came to Buffalo, NY it was in 2002 and Grandma Rose was alive. It is now 2016 and she is gone. I can tell the difference. She is very much needed in our lives today. May the peace of Jesus Christ be with the family.
