Thanksgiving 2010

Dear Tony, Khara & Kyle, I am so very sorry about Rosita's passing. I enjoyed my conversation with her at our family's Thanksgiving's Day dinner back in 2010. She shared with me some history about our family (the Carters) that I didn't even know about! Rosita was a good person with an infectious smile. Rest assured that she has prepared for this day and is now in God's caring hands. I know it's hard so hang in there and please know that I'm here for you cousins if you need me.

To the family of Rosita, I met her at the Strawberry Patch Hallmark Store and we became friends. She was a beautiful person. I will miss her smile and words of encouragement. It was clear she loved you, she spoke of you all often. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tony and family,

Emily & I have known Rosita since she was in a small group with us when she was a Messiah College student. We are sad to learn of this turn of events, for you. We are happy for Rosita. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."

See you tomorrow morning!
