Not sure what to say?

Gina & Baron,

Words just can't express how I feel. I can't even articulate my thoughts appropriately. I think I'm in shock. My sincere sympathy goes out to you both and to your spouses and especially to Wella (Rosie was her girl, her only daughter) and to all your family. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I just feel so sad that I found out so late. I loved your mother very much. She was always kind to me. She was always the life of the party. I can...

Little did I know 25 years ago when Javier and I moved from Houston to McAllen that I would meet a woman who would impact me for the rest of my life. We were to become dear friends.

It was with Rosie and Andrew that Javier and I celebrated the news that I was expecting our first child, Javi. Javi graduated from UT in December, but he and my daughter Laura spent countless hours with us at the Villegas home. Our third child, Lisa, came along much later and only heard all the...

My heart aches for the life cut so short, but I rejoice knowing she is now with God. I try and think of what Rosie would want us to feel right now...in person--she would hug and cry with us...over the phone--she would give Glory to God and pray with us. I will think of and give prayer to Rosie to keep her in my heart.

When I heard that Rosie was selling real estate, I was not at all surprised. I just laughed and said, "YOU GO GIRL!!! She was our unsinkable Rosie". Finally, now she will get a well-deserved rest.

It was an honor to have been Rosie's support manager for her last five years or so until her retirement from AT&T. I have so many fond and pleasant memories from my visits to her house in El Paso where I had the biggest Texas steaks I ever ate, to have had my first "michelada" (most New Yorkers' don't even know what it is)and the great times we all had with her and the AT&T PSO team at our annual meetings. My last e-mail from Rosie back in January made me feel so happy for her as she was so...

I had the great pleasure of working with Rosie. Her warmth and humor made a sometimes stressful work environment easier to bear. You are in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathy on your loss.

My special memory of your Mom, is her cooking. She would bring in her lunch to work and show me what she had made for dinner. She would insist that I try it. I loved her Nacho meat dip that she would make. I remember having it at her house one time and I kept that bowl right in front of me, and she kept refilling it. I will also remember how she would come in the mornings and make it a point to say "Goodmorning" to me and always made sure I had something to eat, whether it be an orange or...

As I sit here and "ponder" (one of Rosie's favorite words) over some of the fun things that she and I did together, I can recall the time when our organization had a business meeting in New York. Rosie and I decided to take off with a couple of other ladies to shop around in the city. Needless to say, we were but a few minutes late to our meeting, however, arrived elegantly in a white stretched limousine. (We had actually bummed a ride from a limo driver who was waiting for his party outside...

During a development session Rosie said "John, if you ever want to be a big fish in a big pond, dont worry about the little sh.."
I have never forgotten her or her many words of insight.
