I was very sorry to hear about Ross’ passing, too late to go to the memorial service. I wish my most sincere condolences to the family. I enjoyed working with Ross for many years, during a period of time when he provided liaison between DRB supported research and CRCC, since I was then a Director of a Group carrying out research in support of several major Military funded programs. The news of Ross' passing evoked both sadness and memories of our days (1960-63), in Air Force Headquarters, Chief of Operational Requirements Division, Directorate of Systems Evaluation (COR/DSE), working under the tutelage of "King James" Radford, the Satellite Rendezvous specialist, among other things. Very sorry to hear of Ross' passing and I wish my most sincere condolences to the family. I was privileged to have worked with Ross, first when I was at CRC and later when I was a Director and then Chief of DREO. Ross was a "first class person".

Sorry to hear of the passing of WC Aberecrombie. He made a signifcant contribution to his contry and was an inspiratin to many young Air Force officers.
