Not sure what to say?

Today I thought of you Ross. I remember the day we met at Starbucks. You were always a gentleman, caring and overall sweet. You had this smile that would just light up a room. I'm sorry it has taken me this long, but know that I have always thought of you during Memorial Day. I always make sure to see your picture and think of you and how big of an influence you had on anyone that met you. Today as I was teaching about Memorial Day to my students I pulled up a picture of you, I couldn't...

While I did not know Ross personally, I was there the day he passed and I can say with absolute certainty that his sacrifice potentially spared my life, the lives of my teammates, and the lives within every vehicle to follow. I think about him and his crew often, as I remain forever indebted to their sacrifice. Family/friends - I am sorry for your loss. He and his team will be forever remember for their courage in the face of certain danger.

Ross and Family -

A decade ago I received this hero bracelet to wear as part of a fundraiser for vets. Since then, I have worn his name and shared his story with many among my travels. A decade past, but never forgotten. Rest easy Ross.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is...

Dear Ross and Family,

Today I participated in a memorial ruck march, and shared Ross's story with my comrades. I shared how I met Ross working for an agency providing services to individuals with disabilities, and how Ross was also in school for nursing at that time, and in the Idaho National Guard; a full life of service at 21 years old. I shared how his life of service, and his passing - lit a fire inside of me, and inspired me to serve also. And in honor of him, I am doing just...

Missing you more and more as the years go on. You are so truly missed. I'd give anything to spend 5 more minutes with you and hear your contagious laugh. We love you. We miss you, forever and always. All gave some.. Some gave all.

Think of you every day.

RIP SGT Clevenger you will never be forgotten, SFC John Webb, 25th Inf Div, Cu Chi, RVN 1966-1967. Melba, ID

To the family and friends of Spc. Ross A. Clevenger:
It has truly been my honor to sign Ross' guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Ross will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy
