I remember you and Brett well from Taumarunui, swimming down at the stream at the back of your family home affectionately known as ` Hunter´s hole´ I remember buying a canoe off you - we used it for decades. You were a great person, kind and a gentle giant.

Went fishing with you once in the nineties to the Mountain. We didn't catch much but a couple of beers on return listening to Bluewater Country I gathered you were a special person .

My kids know all your songs .
