I didn't know you, Petty Officer Toles, but about 10 years ago, I picked a memorial bracelet that says, "PO1 Ross L. Toles III MI Navy Enduring Freedom 18 June 08". I picked it because June 18th is my birthday and I - as a Navy sailor myself - wanted to remind myself to honor those that don't get to enjoy birthdays anymore. Coming up on 12 years and I still carry a piece of you with me.You were the first person that I met when we formed the prt and I still havent forgot that moment. You will always be a part of my life story especially when I tell it my son. I still and always miss you. Rest easy bro.
