Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of your loss even a year after he passed. Dr. Orr saved my life in 1980 by repairing an unusual ruptured appendix. I am now in my 50s and have had a full life with a family of my own. Thanks much Dr. Orr and thanks to your family for sharing you with so many patients who needed your help.

Sincerely,

Dear Mrs. Orr and family. Way back in 1966, I started working in the E.R. at St. Luke's. I was very young. Dr. Orr was so very kind. He was a fabulous doctor who personified the best of the best in surgeons. He was so soft spoken and kind to his patients. He held their hands while gently explaining how he would take care of their needs and sometimes crises. I always thought of him as a "gentle giant."
Blessing and peace to you, Mrs. Orr and your family.

Dear Mrs. Orr and family- Dr. Orr was more than a trusted physician to our family, he was a beloved friend as well. From the first time he said "We're in this together," we knew this was a doctor whose compassion matched his competence and professionalism. He was an extraordinary doctor, and a very fine man. God rest his good soul, and my God's peace and comfort be yours. Sincerely, Carol Henn

Mrs. Orr and family, so sorry for you loss of such a kind and wonderful man. Cherish your memories, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Orr and family. Dr. Orr was the ultimate professional, caring and so very kind to me and my family.

Dr. Orr is one of the most compassionate, caring individuals that I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with. He was a dedicated physician and a great teacher and motivator. He will be missed by all. My life is definitely enriched by having the honor and privilege of working with him.

Very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Dr. Orr was one of a kind. Besides being a wonderful doctor, he was so full of empathy, concern and caring. He cared for several family members over the years, and we never felt in better hands. Our thoughts and prayers to his family.

I was saddened to learn of Ross's passing. I will miss our frequent telephone conversations reminiscing about the 1945 Va. Tech football players. Ross was a multi-talented man and the link to our football days is gone forever. Pat Denardo
