Around 1980, Ross Powell helped to arrange a clarinet piece for classical guitar (the clarinet solo from Olivier Messiaen's "Quartet for the End of Time"). Coincidentally, at the same time, Voices of Change was preparing the entire Quartet for a series of performances. He was very generous with his time in helping me, and had some very innovative and valuable ideas about the transcription.
