Not sure what to say?

What a great man. My grandfather and Ross were good friends and I can remember when he used to substitute teach, sometimes at my high school, Annville-Cleona. Even after he left public life at Palmyra, his passion to educate and lead carried on. Not only was he engaging, but also very entertaing and always made us laugh. A great community leader and a great man.

Dear Millie, I never knew Ross well during high school, but was beginning to know him better coming to the class reunions. I was impressed with his accomplishments. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Ross Watts was my last remaining uncle. When the preacher spoke of Ross and Millie "taking in" anybody "who had no where else to go", that hit home for me. Summer of '73, during my "hippie era" I thumbed my way around a good bit, seeing the country. One morning, about 6:00AM, Ross and Millie woke up, to find me at their door, looking for a bath and a bite to eat. I stayed a few days, and they drove me the rest of the way home. Ross and Millie are Charter Members of the Greatest Generation!

Mr. Watts was an exceptional principal and man. He was not quick to judge and always treated his students with respect. I was a member of his first PHS graduating class. His leadership and dedication to our community will be difficult to equal. Our town has lost a good friend and his service will not be forgotten. My prayers are with his family.

MR.Watts was a great man taught merit badges for scouts and help a them develop into fine young men was also a careing person alwasy went to eagle courts of honor blue and gold banquets and other numerous local activites that he did not have to attend but out of the kindness of his heart

Mr. Watts was the example of integrity, compassion, leadership, and the meaning of community for every young person that knew him. I grew up a few blocks from his home, delivered his newspaper for a few years, and of course attended his school. Our prayers go to your family. Hoping you have comfort in knowing he used the gifts God gave him for the greater good and will be missed in this world.

Ross Watts was an excellent H.S. principal, a fine educator, and a dear friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Uncle Ross has touched so many lives and will be fondly remembered by all. We'll miss him.
