Rotan, always hoped we would have meet again someday. In a way we have, through the kind and clear words here expressed by your friends and those whose lives you have touched in so many ways. As one of those who only knew you briefly, I just want to thank you for your friendship, kindness and great sense of humor that never failed to lift my spirit. All the Boys from "White House" are proud of you Bro., God Bless.

Grace-
I,too, like Alan got to know Rotan on the 3rd floor corridors of the Bordentown Military Institute's White House Dormitory. I always told Rotan, that,I would gladly work for him when he pursued "the other White House" in his future. He wil be remembered at this year's BMI Reunion in October. A great man, gone too soon.
with enduring admiraion,

Grace:
Every once in a while, life's journeys cross paths with someone who you know will achieve greatness. I was Rotan's roommate at Bordentown Military, class of 67 and for a brief time I learned alot from him and grew to admire and respect him. Our paths crossed again in 1994. We had lunch together in Marlton, NJ and it was then that I knew that Rotan was in a league of his own.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I read about his passing. He will be missed.

I am saddened to learn of the death of great friend....counselor and mentor. I had the pleasure/honor of meeting Rotan in 1996 after an introduction from President Bill Clinton when I served as Vice-Chairman of the Democratic Business Council of the DNC. As a young man at age 26.. He extended and gave more insight on the process of being a man substance, My heart is saddened of this death. But in his 57 years of life. He showed me so much at hand.May GOD rest his soul.
