Not sure what to say?

I will think of Roy every time I hear the St. Michael prayer. At the end of mass at the Shrine, he would always lead the congregation with his deep, booming voice. I had the privilege of meeting him earlier this year at the Shrine, and he was always so kind. May God bless him and your family always. I am praying for you all, and I hope that even in the sadness, your family has the wonderful hope of seeing him again in heaven.

May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.

On behalf of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association and Brother Martin High School, I offer our prayers and condolences. We will say a Mass in his memory. Father of all, we pray to you for Roy, and all those we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetually shine upon them. May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Kenny Spellman ´84 Brother Martin High School

Roy had a very profound influence on my life from a very young age.

Lisa, thinking of you and your family and may God bless you all during this time of sorrow... Amy Mathews

My condolences to the family and friends of Roy Alberts. I met Roy and his wife Myrtle through the "thinking man's book club"that both of us belonged. Roy had a keen mind and shared what he knew with others. Often he hosted the book club and Myrtle hosted the meetings, they were wonderful occasions and both he and his wife will be missed. I will miss his political view points most of all.

Roy was a always a perfect gentlemen and more than willing to help anyone in need. Whenever Roy spoke to folks he had a genuine interest in them. I worked with Roy prior to his retirement many years ago and remember him fondly.

Always a nice man and gentleman.

Roy Alberts, a good and loyal friend to so many, I am honored to have been one of those. Rest in peace my friend along with your beautiful wife Myrtle. My deepest sympathy to his loving family. I plan on being at his Memorial Mass, God willing.
