Dad had many adventures in his lifetime. Some wore him out, created problems for him, and some brought unspeakable joy to him. His faith, as many of those who knew him as he was in more recent years can attest to, was the foundation of his strength. He taught me so many things. Every time we chatted on the phone, no matter what obstacles life was tossing his way he always faced them knowing that everything would be fine no matter what the outcome because it was the Lord's way. We will always remember when he called us to tell us about his terminal condidtion. he said "I may not beat this thing, but I'm going to go through it with my head held high...
