Mr. Roy Comer, you were both Loved and Respected. You were a tough task master but probably the fairest Coach I ever had the privilege to play under and for. You were my JV basketball coach and my 1967 Tri State Champion Football Coach. You were fair at a time in History when the laws, attitudes and beliefs of many were not. You touched the lives and souls of many children and young adults of which I am one. My one regret is that I was unable to express my appreciation for all that you did...

My condolences to the entire Comer family. May you keep the many warm memories you have of him close to your heart throughout the years.

I will always remember Roy Comer as my supervisor while at Parkway and Rock Creek schools. He offered me many great opportunities to further my learning about the Adapted PE. Will miss him greatly.

Condolences to all the Comer family
a gentle soul kind and courteous
firm hand shake and a smile on his face
a true gentleman

my pleasure to have met you Mr. Comer may you have eternal peace

Jeff, I am sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. It leaves a huge hole in one's heart. My thoughts are with you and the rest of your family in this time of grief.

Mr. Comer hired me to teach PE at Brunswick High School in the fall of 1968 where I taught for two years before heading off for a different job. Last year at a 4th of July party, I was reintroduced to Mr. Comer. I was so impressed that he remembered me. At the same party this past summer, I couldn't wait to share more memories with him. I am honored to have had the opportunity to reconnect.

My condolences to the family of my high school football coach. Coach Roy Comer taught me to use my talents and to be the best person that I could. The Comer family was always kind the all of the football team. I'll always remember the team parties at the Comer home. Roy made it a family atmosphere. He truly has earned his place in God's Kingdom. May GOD BLESS.

May God comfort, strengthen and encourage you as you go though this time of loss. What an awesome testiment of life that all can cherish, reflect and glean from.
