Roy Edward Cowart

What a great guy!! Roy was one of a kind, loved hunting, fishing, archery and scuba diving. He was one of those men that you can't imagine death ever catching up with him. I hope that we meet again one day. His memory lives on with everyone that ever knew him.

Roy was great to work with in my years in the line department at GSU. I enjoyed our times together duck hunting, tournament archery and scuba diving. Roy was so competitive, at anything from distance throwing, archery and even foot racing a certain distance against a line truck. No matter his age, he was always young at heart.
