Read MoreIn the 1970's I lived in High Point and placed a call to city hall to complain about some issues with a city work crew. I was surprised on a rainy, cold Saturday morning to find Mayor Culler on my doorstep to take a look at the problem. Just a small, but I think, very telling memory that defines the character of the man. I'm sorry for your loss and pain.

Roy will be greatly missed by our community and the many people who knew and loved him. My parents, Bob and Eleanor McCall, were very close friends with Roy and Dot and on many occasions double dated dancing, dinner and attending social events in High Point. I have many great memories of Roy and I'm very proud to have know such a great man. RIP Roy! Love you always!
