Roy S. Danner, Jr., 74, of Tatamy, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. Born March 1, 1947, in Pen Argyl, he was a son of the late Roy S., Sr. and Helen (Bellis) Danner. Roy graduated from Liberty High School in 1967. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army 1st Air Cavalry during the Vietnam War. Roy was a member of Brown & Lynch Post 9. He worked as a draftsman for Joseph Biro & Sons. Later in life, Roy worked at Bianco Brothers and Frick Transfer as an electrician. Roy was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Tatamy. He was a life member of Tatamy Fire Co.


Survivors: his brothers, Timothy Danner and David Danner and his wife, Linda; nephew, Darren and his wife, Monica; and niece, Davina Messics and her husband, Dano.


Private services are at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Brown & Lynch Post 9, 2260 Corriere Road, Palmer Township, PA 18045 in loving memory of Roy. Online condolences may be offered below.

Tim and David, So sorry to hear Roy jr. passing. I remember all the summer vacations I spent In Tatamy and all the adventures the 4 of us shared. Karen and I pray Gods peace and comfort for you during this difficult time.
