Roy H. Durrette Sr., 86, of Hanover Street, Staunton, Virginia, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012, at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia. A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m.Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Mount Salem Baptist Church, 1015 Stuart Street, Staunton, Virginia 24401. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery. Public viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will receive friends anytime at 2705 Hanover Street, Staunton, Virginia.
