Not sure what to say?

The Nelson clan lived across the street from the Dwelle family on Townsend Drive! The Thompsons, the Clyne's and others added to the "horde" of boys that dominated the neighbor"hood"...Backyard campouts, moving box forts with flaps cut to accomodate protruding BB gun weapons, trips to the "creek" which was a major run-off drainage system for the City of Dallas were all our favorite haunts. Bill was the elder statesman of this gang and was the first of the "hood" to get a car and license to...

Bill was my friend in High School at W. T White. He was a loving and good man. He will be missed I'm sure. May God comfort his family in the days ahead. "God blesses those that mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4 Betty Underwood

I first met Bill when we wre both about 12 years old. We became close friends all through jr high and high school. I will always remember Bill from these fun and carefree days. So long my friend, it was a real pleasure to have had you as a friend.

A thoughtful and reflective man. A great smile whenever he had made his point. I never saw Bill mad or angry, a rarity in our business. He will be missed.

We hadn't seen Bill in many years and only remember him from his healthy and active days with the WTW drag racers and the Braniff gang. Those were happy, carefree days when 'the Dwell party' entertained one and all. Our condolences to Robin, Alan, Jimmy and all the family.

Robin,
I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I appologize that I was out of town and unable to attend the services. You and Bill were on my mind and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Bill was a good guy and will be missed. Mike Connor - friend and coworker

Bill, you will be missed. I enjoyed every minute that you spent training me when I first came into Dispatch. Your one liners always made me laugh.

Robin, even though we have never met, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Our loss is Heavens gain.

Thanks for all you taught us and for making us smile every time we saw you Bill. I wish we could come to the service, but we will be at our daughter's college for parents weekend. God speed to all of Bill's family and friends

From the Braniff ramp at DFW to the Braniff dispatch office, when I think of Bill it will be with happy memories. I am so glad he was part of my life.
