Last time I saw Roy was at The Bonnie Raitt - Redrocks concert. We had a great time then and many times before when we were in Junior High at Manning and Fort Lewis in Durango. Have a lot of funny and wild memories thanks to him. Those were the days of high adventure. Journey well Roy and condolences to the surviving Eakers and their loved ones. He was one of a kind to be sure!

I remember the times as kids we would sleep out and terrorize the neighborhood in the middle of the night. Roy was tough as nails for his size. At about 5'5" and barely 150 lbs. he played nose guard on the WRHS football team. And he was good. Just like Glenn said, Roy was a total character but I don't know of anyone that didn't like him. RIP Roy!

I have soooo many memories of Roy and the Eaker name, as a kid, growing up in Wheatridge. As a classmate, Roy was a total character, always pushing the teachers patience. He was fun and funny. I am very sorry for your loss but pray for peace over all Roys loved ones.
