I am sorry to say I just learned of Roy's passing. I am deeply saddened. It has been years since I last saw Roy. We exchanged Christmas cards this past Christmas. I kept thinking I needed to give him a call and get together for lunch. This is a not so gentle reminder to reach out more frequently to those who have touched our lives. I met Roy in Laguna at West Street Beach the summer I arrived in California from Ohio in 1986. He was always a gentleman. I attended a number of his Labor...

I miss your calls, you always responded "Hi angel, it's Roy" It seems all too surreal at the moment. My sincerest condolences to Roy's family, thank you for sharing your family's treasure with all of us. I'm honored to call you a friend, but you were so much more to me. I love you Roy ...
