This morning I watched the funeral service CD that Hankins & Whittington provided. I cried for all the love that we have. The last months, the love we shared, those last few days, when it was just the three of us, priceless. Roy & Carrie, we have lots of patients who come in for treatment, they all bring a new dimension to our jobs. But you two, watching the love and hearing you Roy tell Carrie what she meant to you was inspiring. It's like you shared your private intimate life with us. I considered Roy a friend. He and I were smoking buddies at Wachovia and both "retired". I saw him back around Mothers Day and we shared our health struggles. I will miss him.
