Not sure what to say?

I was a bank employee from 1975-1988. Mr. Gilbert was such a pleasure to get to know through his wonderful leadership there. He made a point of learning everyone's name and treated everyone with such kindness and grace. I consider it an honor to have worked under him, and I look forward to seeing him again when God calls me home!

Dearest Judy and family, We had no idea Roy had gone to be with Jesus nor did we know he had cancer. Jerry has Alzheimers now and can't express himself anymore but when I told him of Roy's passing from your Thanksgiving card and your note, he was visibly shaken as I was as well. So shocked, I know this was the hardest Thanksgiving ever. I have tried to call the only number I had to talk to you and they say its not longer in service. You are not on social media so I can't text so please...

Judy, I am so sorry for your loss. You and Roy have been together a long time, I remember the fun days we had a couples group. I know you and your family will miss him. I was so disappointed I was not able to see you at the service due to the crowd. Would love to talk to you.

I will always remember him coming into Morgan Ashley salon to drop off Judy for her hair appointment and he always made many of us laugh with his great sense of humor! He surely will be missed by us all. He represented Christ well

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will always treasure our close friendship and appreciate your serving as our daughter Amy´s Godfather and miss you always. Theresa and Joe Brown of Thomasville GA and Amy Brown Tulacro of Bethesda, MD!

Mr. Gilbert was an amazing man. His generous spirit will be missed.

We will miss Roy so much. He was a great influence to my wife and I. I am so thankful to have known him, may the Lord bless the family and we rejoice in knowing He is with the Lord. Love Nolan and Barrie.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Roy was a gentleman who when having had the pleasure of his company, I always felt better.
