Not sure what to say?

Growing up in Swan Street, Cannington, the Harper's were neighbours of ours. Roy played football with my brother, the previous Gov-Gen, at our house whilst sister Jean 'tickled' me to death. I remember their Dad's horse and cart of which I was a frequent passenger.
Although I do not know the family, my sincere condolences to all.
Elizabeth Jeffery

Roy was one one of the Perth Football Club's most courageous players during his 213 game league career, which included the 1955 premiership team. He captained the league team, as did his older brother Keith before him. Keith and Roy were made joint club legends in recognition of their brilliant careers. Roy was determination personified, and any opponent who got a kick against him knew they had earned it. He was a great club man. Sincere sympathy to Roy's family on his passing.

Remembering the good times in Australind and Billy Tea always made by Roy. Love to the family, my thoughts are with you ALL.
