I too served with Roy with the 1169th Combat Engineers Bat. Roy was as umble and honest and friendly human being as no one I've met. I have heard no bad words ever spoken about this wonderful man. I only wish I couldhave visited him before his passing. I will miss him dearly, as well as many others. Go rest in peace my fellow soldier and friend. John Stapler
