Roy was a romantic at heart. He loved the beauty of the Sierras and saw the beauty in the desolation of Death Valley. On one occassion leaving that place, we were stopped by a herd of wild burros crossing the road in front of us. Bringing upu the rear was a mare followed by a wobbly legged foal, obviously a newborn. Roy watched and said:"God, isn't that beautiful!" That's the Roy I knew and will remember. I was proud to call him friend

Even if we met Roy only few times it was enough to understand how he was lovely. I'm sorry that my family and I didn't have the possibility to see him once again and to spend with him nice time as we spent when we went to Los Angeles.

A man who, with his Marina and Sasha, made my childhood so wonderful, is going to live in my heart for the rest of my life. I still hear the sound of piano and see him standing and listening to me… I still remember how happy I was having the opportunity to visit LA as a little girl…I still see him playing with us, little kids… I still feel how great man my uncle Roy was and it will last forever.
