I carry a very special memory of Chief Killion, as he was the guest speaker at my 1984 FAE graduation ceremony in Ione. The words of encouragement he imparted to the students of my class, as well as the dedication by the Academy staff, helped to mold our futures as CDF employees. I was honored to shake his hand as I received my diploma and the photo I have of that moment is absolutely priceless... Heaven holds a special place for a Firefighter and I´m confident he is filling a very special and spiritual role amongst his brothers and sisters. Rest in Peace Chief.

Ahhh! He´s in the presence of His beloved Savior! Happy for him, but he will be missed! He used to help out at MOPS at OEFC, and he´d always meet me at my car and count my kids to make sure I had them all. I loved his sense of humor and joyful spirit. His was a life well- lived. My condolences to Shirley and family.
