Dear Relatives of Lars,

I met Lars only oce few years ago via Charlie. I didn't know him so much, but he was Charlie's best friend. That says something.

I was very sorry to hear sad news about "Lars". He was a great man, I have very nice memories of him when he and Charlie came to visit Bratislava, capital city of Slovakia, last year. I am very happy of having the oportunity to meet him. He will stay in my memories forever! My deepest sympathy and prayers go to you. May you find pleasure in your memories.

I was sad to see Mr. Larson's obituary in the WB Press. I'm sure he would not remember me but I had him for 7th grade art class in 1967. I remember being in his class the day after Bobby Kennedy was shot (almost the last day of the school year) and discussing that for an hour instead of art.
My other favorite teacher that year was Miss Peterson, who had the classroom next door. Once the 2 teachers switched classes for about 10 minutes as a joke. Miss Peterson came back into our English...

I have such fond memories of him throughout my life in Minnesota- from the neighborhood, to my elementary years at Golfview School to my days waitressing at the Village Inn-he was such a special person.

Roy will be missed by our entire family. He was my second cousin and my children's art teacher at Willow Lane. With permission from their parents and their principal, my kids were treated to lunch at McDonald's by Roy, during their school day on more than one occasion.
