So sad to hear of Roy's passing to the heavens. I'm sure he is still flying with our friend Dick Forrestal.

My condolences to the McCready family. Like many others, Roy guided me through my private pilot license many years ago. I will remember him for his flexibility, expertise, patience, and friendship.

I remember Roy when I was at Akron airport he was a great guy to be around with.

My sincere condolences to the McCready family. Roy was my first solo instructor and gave the confidence a scared 17 year old needed to make it around and down 3 times...

We are deeply saddened to learn of Roy's passing. He was a great flight instructor and helped develop my skills. He was also a great person and he reminded me of my Dad. I know he LOVED his CUB, and he's probably talking airplanes with John Hotchkin and "REF" right now!

I haven't seen Roy in a few years now. However years ago I rented the Arcade Airport from him. He was so good to work with, honest and just plain fun to be with. So sorry for his passing. Blue Skies my friend.
