Roy Miller was one of the first people I met here in NYC. I was introduced to him by a mutual friend and he went above and beyond welcoming me to the Big Apple's theater community. He gave me tickets to A Christmas Story where I met up with him after the show to grab a cup of coffee. He sat with me for several hours getting to know me and giving me all the advice he could about how to further my career. He was a great mentor and one of those people who made you feel like you could reach for...

I am so saddened to learn of Roy's passing. We worked together on an actor's showcase at The Pearl Theatre in New York, way back in the late 1980's. I lost touch with everyone from then, except Roy. He sent me birthday wishes every year. When I didn't hear from him this year...well...My thoughts and prayers go to Roy's family. You raised an exceptional gentleman. Our world is poorer for the loss of him, but if there is a stage in heaven, he's improving it. Rest in peace, Roy.

Roy left earth much much too soon. He was extremely talented. I went to school with Roy and he was such a huge part of the theatre community. I remember him at surf light Heaven has another angel.
U r in our prayers. I'm still shocked n can't believe it. I'm so sorry for the families loss.

My prayers go out to Roy's family and friends. As numerous articles have repeatedly stated, Roy helped so many people follow their passion and believe in themselves. He brought magic to the theatre community and he will be sorely missed. Having met Roy while touring in a Theatreworks, USA production at Paper Mill, I was later blessed to have him as a mentor and friend when I decided to change course and see what producing was all about. He gave me an opportunity that I will always...

Dear Roy,
My dear dear friend, you will be greatly missed by so many. I'm heartbroken beyond words to hear this news. I and I'm sure so many others could always count on you to make a day a little bit brighter, to lend an ear, to help a friend and make us all smile. I'll miss your wicked quick-wit, your genuineness, sincerity, honesty and loyalty my friend. I know you'll be watching over and your light will shine down on us all. I'm blessed to have called you my friend.
God bless &...

I met Roy briefly a few times during his Paper Mill days. Years later I contacted him to share information about a promising new off Broadway show that I thought Roy could guide to Broadway. Impressively, He both remembered me and greeted me warmly with interest in my referral. Roy was that rare combination of professional excellence and a warm and thoughtful person.
