My wife and I only just learned of Dr. Nelson's passing. Our sincere condolences to his family. Dr. Nelson was called in on the night in 1992 when our son was born. It was an emergency situation that is traumatic to recall even now. But because Dr. Nelson and another physician were called in the nick of time, our son survived. Dr. Nelson was both my boys pediatrician growing up. I have moved to Arizona 7 years ago and I don't know what possessed me to look him up. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his death. One of my fondest memories was when I was in the hospital with my youngest son and my oldest was bored with the whole process. Dr. Nelson took my oldest to the cafeteria and bought him dinner. He was an amazing man and physician.

Our family just received the letter about Dr. Nelson's passing. Dr. Nelson was our daughter's pediatrian from her birth. She is now 21 and only stopped seeing him as her physician because she moved away to school. Dr. Nelson was one of the most accessible,kind,caring and genuine doctors we will ever know. We are all deeply saddened at the news of his passing and will always have special memories of the part he played in our lives. You are in our prayers and thoughts, The Meyers Family

Deeply sorry for your loss! We received our letter yesterday and my heart just couldn't believe it. We have so many wonderful and amazing stories about Dr. Nelson and the care he provided. He was our pediatrician for 12 years. Thank you for all the loving care, you will be missed.

We had no idea that our childrens' beloved doctor passed away. His love for children was evident from the moment we met him. DR. Nelson was the best doctor we've ever known!!! May he rest in peace!!!

We just got the letter today,we had no idea that he passed. He became our sons pediatrician before he was born and has continued being his primary doctor even though he is now 21. He was a large part of our life, he was available 24 hours a day and truly cared. We will miss him greatly

Dr. Nelson was my doctor from the time I was a small child until I graduated from high school. He was unfailingly kind and understanding, and I had the utmost respect for him and trust in him. He has a big impact on my life, and I'm sure on the lives of many others. My thoughts go out to his family.

It was such a shock to recieve the letter informing his passing. Dr.Nelson took care of my daughter for the past 6 years from the moment she was born. We will miss him. Thanks to Brenda and his great staff for taking our calls and accomodating to see us anytime.
