My father was my #1 role model and Mr. Roy Nichols will always be #2 - miss him and all the great meetings and times spent with him!! He did a lot for our community and it is what we leave that counts .. he was the best!!! Bob Wills

My husband Kenneth Pitts and l, really enjoyed meeting Roy and Sue ,at Rock Steady Boxing in Huntsville . My husband Kenneth is also a boxer. Roy and Sue , they are a beautiful couple and a true inspiration to Rock Steady Boxing , Loud Crowd, and to our marriage. .May God continue to be with Sue, her children and grands. Roy´s life was a blessing to many. Your family will be our prayers.

Roy was an incredible man that I was so blessed to worked with him - mostly at Randolph. He was a man of high character and always there to help and inspire you. He and Sue had 3 wonderful girls and so wonderful to hear them talk at the service with such a sense of humor - know that he was smiling from above. Roy will always be a role model for me and sure many others share that same feeling - life is about what you leave behind - your family, your friends, your community.........and...

Condolences. Roy was true asset to Huntsville and the nation. He was a model citizen.

I worked at NRC back in the 90´s and always remembered Mr. Nichols to be such a kind man. Prayers of comfort and peace for his family.

It is hard to put into words all of the ways Roy´s life influenced our lives in such a positive way. From his powerful intellect to his caring spirit, his wonderful sense of humor and his monumental courage in his long battle with Parkinson´s, he was a true blessing to our family and to so many others. Our prayers will continue for Sue and the family, confident that Roy is in a better place, restored to the vigor of his youth and in the presence of the Lord he served so unfailingly. We...

Prayers for all the family. I admired Mr. Nichols as a boss during my time at Nichols Research. He made you feel like you were important. Most of all you could tell he was a man of God. I thank God for the years we all got to spend with him. There used to be some wonderful Christmas parties where they were focused on the children and we all had such a great fellowship together. He carried the Torch for the city and he is a bright torch in so many people"s lives. Always Thankful, Faye...
