Not sure what to say?

To the Nordstrom Family,
I haven't seen Roy or Delphine much in recent years, but the were a vital part of South Kent Baptist Church when I was a member. I served with them on the missions committee and was inspired by their desire to share their love of God. My prayers are with you all. Thank you, David, for all those welcome hugs as you greeted people at the church door.

My condolences to Roy's family. I had the pleasure to work closely with Roy during his tenure with the City of Grand Rapids. He had a great deal of experience in nonprofit and contract management and he was always willing to share his knowledge. I learned a lot from him. Roy was a good, honest man and he will be greatly missed.

Now Uncle Roy has forever to enjoy playing the "Greenland slides" that have become the stuff of Nordstrom clan legend.

Roy was a special man. He was always willing to volunteer to fill a need. He will be greatly missed.

My prayers and condolences to the family. I've been informed through Florence of his dedication to his wife and family and know he will be missed. May God comfort all knowing he has run the race well.

Roy's quiet wit and great compassion made an impact on many lives...he will be missed.

We are thankful for Roy, for his commitment to our Lord and Savior, to his family, and to the ministry of David's House. May you know the peace and comfort from our Lord during these days, as well as the joy in knowing He is in the presence of our Savior.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Roy. He was a wonderful man and asset to Calvary Church and the Special Needs Ministry there. He will be missed by all and especially by his son David. We can rest in the assurance that Roy is with his son Paul in Heaven though.
