Not sure what to say?

I am so very sad to have learned of Roy's passing. He and I worked together while he was a consultant for Quorum Health in Nashville, TN. He was so impressive with all the people and things he knew - especially in D.C. - but none of that compares to how kind and funny he was. I am truly sorry for the family's loss - as well as the Country's. I feel Roy dedicated his life to trying to make the world a better place for everyone. God Bless you all.

Missing you. I love you Daddy.

Roy was a mentor to many young men and women that served in local government in the Dallas area. I was mayor of Garland and I had the honor to serve on many boards and commissions with him over the seventies and eighties. The wives also became good friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families at this time of sorrow. He left many great memories for his family and friends.

Oh my, Roy and Janice have gone where we can talk to them, but they can't talk to us. No one can possibly miss them more than you, the Orr family though there are a whole lot of us who will never be the same because of them ... and many, many more who follow behind us.

What an extra ordinary pair of parents ... they could be used as a definition of character .... such integrity .... whose philosophy was to do the right thing for the right reasons. Reading about your father, and...

You could not be involved in public life or government in Dallas County without knowing of and knowing Roy Orr.
I liked him and his general good nature and bonhommie were examples to all who aspired to serve their community.
I am sorry for his passing
but can't help being proud to have known him and that I passed his way.
He left behind a record of service and honor that was worthy of the effort.
God Speed Roy Orr.

Roy and Janice will forever be dear to me. They both espoused greatness, kindness, family values, and leadership. Roy would help anyone in need, and was a friend until the end. He was respected at the State Capital of Texas and in the communities to which he gave so much. My deepest condolences to the Orr Family.

Love, Brenda Daum

Sincere condolences on Roy's passing.

He was my friend and mentor.

Roy led a life of public service and had
an outstanding career as Mayor, County
Commissioner, President of NACo and
numerous State Appointments by Texas
Governors to lead Boards and Commissions.

Roy touched many lives and will be missed!

May the Good Lord Bless Roy and the Family.
