Not sure what to say?

Jonathan and Brandon,
I became a friend of Roy's in 2003 and I am sorry to hear that he passed. I saw it in the newspaper just today and I was shocked. Please send the family my condolences. He was a nice man and a good friend to me.

Roy was a great guy who I enjoyed working with at J. J McMullen and who sold me his house on Patriot Crescent at a great price. As Ham Williams put it in his comments he was very kind and compassionate and was a pleasure to be around. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

God bless you, Johnathan! We are so sorry to hear about Roy but we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and to those who are the called according to His purpose. You are in our prayers. Mr. & Mrs. Evans and family(your former next door neighbors)

Brandon and Johnathan ... So glad to have gotten to know you thru your Dad who I have known since he was a little boy... Every summer I was invited to go to the beach with The Paces ... We always had such fun and I will never forget those times ... So sad about us losing Roy but I know he wants you to continue the 3rd week in July with family ... Our love is with both of you ... Beverly and Billy (Janet's friends)

Dear Brandon and Jonathan,

I came to know your Dad in about 1979 when we were working for John J. McMullen Associates at Rouse Tower. I don't think I ever met a kinder or more compassionate man. He spoke with pride of his sons and their accomplishments ... and rightfully so. I was honored to have Roy as a friend and a a person who added fun to work. May God continue to bless.
With my prayers,

A few years ago I rented a room from Roy for a short time. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. I have kept in touch with him over the years, having the privilage of seeing him about 2 months ago. He was a very thoughtful, patient and kind person.

I had the pleasure of knowing Roy both on a peronal and on a professional level. Every tax time I would fuss at him and say Roy if your heart was as hard as your head he would laugh and say I was never meant to be rich. I know in my lifetime I never met a more giving and generous person he never saw anyone he wouldn't help if he could. He had a heart of gold and I know the dancing he loved will continue in heaven. He will greatly missed.

Dear Brandon and Jonthan, your dads early departure has certainly affected many people. He was a loving and caring man who tried to be there for his family and friends. He will be truly missed, and he will live on in our hearts and thoughts.May he rest in peace and may GOD give you the strength to carry on in this time of great sorrow.
