Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Comfort Tyler Chapter (Syracuse), we send our condolences to the family. Forget Me Not Don´t remember me not with sadness, Don´t remember me with tears, Remember all the laughter, We´ve shared throughout the years, Now I am contented, That my life it was worthwhile. Knowing that I passed along the way, I made somebody smile, When you are walking down the street, And you´ve got me on your mind, I´m walking in your footsteps, Only half a...

Single Memorial Tree

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Roy Powers was very important to us here at Precision in Cortland . About 1976 he helped my confidence in starting an engine rebuilding business. He always offered technical help when he would visit our machine shop and I´m sure no one ever had such a clear memory of the little things that made his stories entertaining and informative. We miss him.

I remember when Roy ran the Ashland gas station and repair garage and kept the Dodge farm trucks rolling that my Dad used to haul canned milk for years. It goes without saying he was extremely knowledgeable and an accomplished mechanic when it came to the world of Cars and Trucks. His smile, talent and humor will be missed ! Condolences and positive thoughts to the Power´s family.

A person once said that teachers "tell long stories so students learn to listen." Roy & his stories always had a message. One of the people I truely missed when my practice moved away from Fabius. I was glad I knew him. Best to the family.

Dear Don, Steve and family- I'm sorry to read of your dad's passing. While I didn't know him personally, the respect and honor I always heard from Don confirms his reputation as a decent Christian man, dearly loved in our corner of the world. He will be missed by many. Praying God's comfort to you all in the days ahead.

Deep condolences to the Powers family!

Roy and I got to know one another in 1995. I entered a 2 week cross country antique car rally without any knowledge of the resources I would need. Eventually Rodger Powers, Mike Reeve, George Staley, Roy and many others were with me in spirit after an Ottawa to Mexico city finish. I know there are hundreds of similar successes he is responsible for. Special wishes to David and Laurie.
