Missy, Sarah, and Jeff,
We are so very sorry to hear about Roy. We wish we could have expressed our condolences in person. Family times spent together as we were growing up, and later in life as we had our own families, will always be treasured. Our love, thoughts, and prayers are with you.

Dearest Missy and Family,
My heart breaks for your loss of Roy.
I worked at Smiley, and he was a mentor to me an enriched my life and helped me be the person I am today. He always had a smile and a thank you for a job well done. I am a better person for knowing him. He always had a kind word for everyone. He was one of the greatest people. He will be sadly missed by all that know him,and I will be one of them.
God Bless you Missy and family stay strong and my thoughts are...

Missy,
The family of Roy's cousin, Patricia Ricketts Gray Hofer, offer our sympathy at your loss. I know my Mom was always close and cared deeply for Roy, as well as his parents. She enjoyed her interactions with Roy and would be saddened to hear of his passing and would want me to share this with you. I have fond memories of Uncle Roy Sr., Aunt Rose and Roy Jr. at all of Great Grandma's monthly luncheons out in Princeville and all of the great times the extended family shared during...

Missy, one of the highlights of our year was getting together with you and Roy over the Chrstmas holidays. I have many great memories of Roy going back to our days at ISU all the way to the present. He will be greatly missed.

We will remember Roy for his patience and good humor, and for how he loved his family, and for being a master of the barbecue. Recalling the wonderful times we had at our college reunions at Fern Glen will keep his memory alive in our hearts and minds.

Dear Missy, Jeff and Sarah
WE are so saddened by Roy's passing but we know he is in a much better place. We are so sorry we can't be there at this sad time. Our love to all.
