Not sure what to say?

I am so sad to learn of Roy's passing. Last time we spoke (Fall 2017) we said we were going to get together sometime soon. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Roy, you crossed my mind today. I was waxing nostalgic about the early 70s at WAYS and WROQ. You were always an enthusiastic, dedicated and upbeat guy with an obvious love for life. I know that your new one is the grand reward but I had to tell you that, down here a lot of people really miss you a lot.

WOW! I went to tell him Happy Birthday and found out he is in Heaven. I never knew. I knew Roy from the time he was on WIST and we were both teenagers. When I got married, he came and did all the photography. He was so good in that, I thought he would go into it professionally. My heart is so saddened. He was so special. I will miss his laugh and he will be missed a lot.

Rosen family, I would like to say that it was an honor and joy to have had the opportunity for Roy to book me.....and to have shared some gigs with him as well. I enjoyed his pleasant conversations about his time at WAY's radio and his wedding gigs. I'm glad that I got to share some of his time, and as with everyone, I will be sad in knowing that there is no more of his time on earth to be shared.

Roy was a near and dear friend to me for many years. My heart goes out to all of his family and to his beloved dog.

I knew Roy in the Charlotte media business for many years. He also was the DJ for my daughter's wedding in 2001. Always a true gentleman, he will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Roy's passing. Had not seen him in years, but remember his smile and quick wit. He was very gifted and talented and will be sorely missed by many. My thoughts and prayers to his family. He left us too soon. May he RIP.

Not only was Roy a good friend, he was genuine and a great person. I enjoyed working with Roy and I will miss his friendship. I'm so sad to hear this news, but I know he is finally out of pain.

May fond memories of Roy bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. My heart and prayers go out to the Rosen family. I met Roy thirty plus years ago and he was such an amazing person filled with great enthusiasm and always smiling.. My friend has no more pain and is celebrating in Heaven now❤
